"River Deep - Mountain High" flopped in America, but was a big hit in the UK and they drew the attention with their Ike & Tina Turner Revue and were offered a spot as opening act for The Rolling Stones on their 1966 UK tour. The album spawned six singles with the hits "A Fool In Love," "I Idolize You" and "It's Gonna Work Out Fine."
